Maddison started his career at Coventry City before moving on to Norwich City in 2016.

Maddison was born and reared in the West Midlands city of Coventry. Through a grandfather, he has Irish ancestry.

Maddison made his England debut on March 26, 2023, against Ukraine in a UEFA Euro 2024 qualifier.

James Maddison injury: What happened to James Maddison?

After opening the scoring eight minutes into the game, Maddison appeared to suffer a hamstring injury and was substituted after 24 minutes.

Leicester City received an injury blow as a playmaker and star player James Maddison isn’t fully fit.

There had also been a potential fitness boost for the Foxes as forgotten man Ryan Bertrand is finally classified as fit to train. Meanwhile, club captain Jonny Evans remains unavailable for selection by Foxes manager Brendan Rodgers.
