SB.TV creator and MBE Jamal Edwards’ final Instagram post was a heartfelt tribute to his “brother” Ed Sheeran.
Jamal Edwards, the son of Loose Women singer Brenda Edwards, died suddenly at the age of 31, sending shockwaves through the music industry in the United Kingdom.
The businessman, who was born in Luton and grew up on a council estate in Acton, West London, was pals with some of the country’s most talented artists.
Through his SB, he is recognized with helping to catapult stars like Ed Sheeran and Jessie J to global success.
Tributes have poured in for the music business pioneer on the TV YouTube site.
And in his final Instagram post, the man who was awarded an MBE for his services to music at the youthful age of 23 offered a heartfelt homage to global sensation and buddy Ed Sheeran.

Jamal wrote beside a photo of the two when they were younger: “Ed, I’d want to wish you a happy birthday. Brother, I am grateful to have you in my life. When you lose track of the years, you know you’ve been friends for a long time! G, keep slamming it and encouraging the rest of us!”
