American cinematographer, Jacques Haitkin has been reported dead. According to sources, he had an estimated net worth of around $5 million at the time of death. Considering that he contributed to a good number of movies that broke records at the box office, it is understandable that he was able to make such great wealth for himself.

He worked as the Director of Photographer (DP) on A Nightmare on Elm Street, which was directed by Wes Craven. He also worked in that role on several movies including Galaxy of Terror, The House Where Evil Dwells, Ticks, The Silence of the Hams, Bloodsport, The Forgotten, Maniac Cop 3: Badge of Silence, and more.

Haitkin also worked on several popular movies in his career; most of which raked in a good amount of money at the box office. He manned the camera and did second-unit work on three of the Fast & Furious franchise, two Captain America movies, Cherry 2000, Last Man Standing (1995), The Expendables (2010), X-Men: First Class, Kong: Skull Island, Black Panther, Venom, and more.
