Jacqueline R. Walorski was an American politician and U.S. representative for Indiana’s 2nd congressional district from 2013 until her death in 2022.

A member of the Republican Party, she was a member of the Indiana House of Representatives, representing Indiana’s 21st district, from 2005 to 2010.
In the home state of Rep. Jackie Walorski, Indiana, a two-car crash on Wednesday claimed the lives of three more people.
Walorski, 58, was traveling in an SUV with her press secretary, Emma Thomson, and the chairman of the St. Joseph County Republican Party, Zachery Potts.
The Elkhart County Sheriff’s Office claims that at that point, a vehicle traveling in the opposite direction crossed the Indiana State Road 19 median and struck them directly.
Along with Edith Schmucker, the 56-year-old driver of the second car, Thomson and Potts also perished in the incident.

Emma grew up in a house where knowledge was valued highly. Her mother is Linda Thomson, president, and CEO of Johnstown Area Regional Industries.
She is also in charge of the entire JARI program’s public relations, strategic and tactical planning, reporting to community leadership, and fundraising.
oversees the Showcase for Commerce, shale gas projects, and efforts to draw foreign investment for the organization.
Prior to joining JARI, Thomson worked for 12 years as the authority’s executive director in Clearfield County. In 1983, she began working in economic development as the Greater Connellsville Chamber of Commerce director.
Emma Thomson’s death devastated her family and parents.
