Jack also has Wiradjuri roots from his maternal side.

Who Is Jack Wighton?

Jack Wighton is a rugby league footballer who plays as a five-eighth, full-back, center and winger for the Canberra Raiders in the NRL.

Born on February 4, 1993, in New South Wales, Jack represented “NSW Under 18s and Australian Schoolboys in 2010.”

He played for the Indigenous All Stars, Country Origin, and Prime Minister’s XIII.

He also played for the Raiders NYC team, before moving to the Raiders full-time NRL squad.

Jack made his NRL debut for the Canberra Raiders in 2012, in a match against the Gold Coast Titans.

In 2021, Jack was named to the Australia squad to play for the Rugby League World Cup, and recorded a win over Samoa at the finals.

In 2022, Jack represented the New South Wales during the State of Origin series.

In April 2023, Jack retired from representative rugby.
