After 34 years of service, Thomas Dufault resigned from the military in April 2019. During that time, he held the position of master sergeant in the same 102nd Intelligence Wing that his stepson did a few months later.
At a retirement ceremony at Joint Base Cape Cod, where Teixeira was also stationed, Dufault was seen firing off a salute.
Online documents show that Thomas, Teixeira’s stepfather, is also a licensed pilot, mechanic, and real estate broker.
