Sandra Knight is an actress and the ex-wife of Jack Nicholson an American retired actor and filmmaker

Jack Nicholson met Sandra Knight his first and only wife while filming The Terror. The two got married in 1962 and were together until 1968. They had one daughter together.

Sandra Knight appeared in low-budget films in the 1950s and 1960s, including Frankenstein’s Daughter (1958), in which she played the titular role, The Terror (1963), in which she plays an evil spirit alongside Boris Karloff and Jack Nicholson, and Tower of London (1962) with Vincent Price.

Thunder Road (1958), a bootleg moonshine action epic starring Robert Mitchum, is her most well-known film.

Aside from films, she appeared as a guest star in several television series, including “The Legacy” in the Western Tales of Wells Fargo, “The Burning Girl” in the science fiction anthology series One Step Beyond, and “Knock on Any Tombstone.

She also appeared in the Warner Bros. detective show Bourbon Street Beat, “The Search for Cope Borden” in the Western The Man from Blackhawk, “Home Town” in the Western Tate, and “The Rebel” in the Western The Rebel. Sandra Knight retired from acting in 1966.
