MMA Fighter, Iuri Lapicus who fights for ONE Championship has died after he was involved in a car accident. He due to a car accident that happened after Lapicus lapsed into a coma after a motorcycle crash in Milan, Italy. He reportedly lost control of his motorcycle and collided with an incoming vehicle. He was sent to the hospital while in coma and died shortly afterwards.

Lapicus competed at both lightweight and welterweight for ONE Championship. He recently lost by first-round knockout to Zebasztian Kadestam in a welterweight bout at ONE Championship on Prime Video 1; the fight happened in August 2022.
