Isiah Kiner-Falefa is an American professional baseball player plying his trade as a shortstop for the New York Yankees of Major League Baseball (MLB). His previous team in the MLB is the Texas Rangers.

Isiah was drafted by the Texas Rangers in the fourth round of the 2013 Major League Baseball Draft and made his professional debut with the Arizona League Rangers and spent all of 2013 there, batting .322 with 11 RBIs and 12 stolen bases in 41 games.

The Texas Rangers traded Kiner-Falefa, along with pitcher Ronny Henríquez, on March 12, 2022 to the Minnesota Twins for Mitch Garver.
A day later, thus on March 13, 2022, Minnesota traded Kiner-Falefa, along with Ben Rortvedt and Josh Donaldson, to the New York Yankees for Gary Sánchez and Gio Urshela.
