By the end of March, 29 of the 32 participants at the first winter World Cup will be known. The final three places will be decided in the intercontinental playoffs in June as well as the final European playoff final which has been delayed due to the Ukraine-Russian crisis.

The draw for the tournament takes place on Friday, April 1, 2022, at the DECC venue in Doha, Qatar at circa 5 pm BST.

Is World Cup draw on TV?
FIFA will be streaming the draw live via its official website. In the UK, the BBC will also be broadcasting all of the action on television and via the BBC iPlayer.
The draw will also be shown on free-to-air TV on BBC One from 4:45 pm and also on Sky Sports. That will mean the BBC Sport website will stream the draw live. In addition, FIFA will screen the draw on their website and YouTube channel for free.
