“Willow” is a sequel to the same-named fantasy film from 1988. “Willow” is described as an “epic period fantasy series with a modern sensibility, set in an enchanted land of breathtaking beauty,” and it continues the adventure as an unlikely group of heroes embark on a perilous quest in which they must confront their inner demons and band together to save their world.

The first look was unveiled at the Star Wars Celebration event in Anaheim, which was attended by returning stars Warwick Davis and Joanne Whalley, executive producer Jonathan Kasdan, original film director Ron Howard, and Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy, and some of the series’ cast.

In addition to the first look, the “Willow” team said that the new series will premiere on Disney+ on November 30.
Was Willow a flop?
Willow was neither a flop nor the huge hit that the producers had hoped for. The film was met with mixed reviews. Based on 56 reviews gathered by Rotten Tomatoes as of October 2021, it had a “Rotten” 52% rating, with an average score of 5.9/10.
