In 2015, McGee took on the role of the boy’s basketball coach at Akron East, a public high school in Akron, Ohio. Simultaneously, he assumed the position of athletic director at St. Vincent-St. Mary. His commitment to coaching and developing young talents has been evident throughout his career post-retirement.
