The City of Memphis is set to release the video of Tyre Nichols’ arrest to the public sometime after 7 pm ET according to officials.

Five former Memphis police officers involved in the arrest have been charged with murder and kidnapping, the Shelby County district attorney.

The 29-year-old Black driver was pulled over on January 7 by the Memphis police for reckless driving and a confrontation occurred. Nicholas died three days after. The police chief said the department has been unable to find anything that substantiated the probable cause for reckless driving.
Video footage of Tyre Nichols’s violent arrest on January 7 will be released on YouTube in four parts showing the initial stop, the stop near Nichols’s home and body-worn camera footage of the individuals at the scene.
