Trina Braxton is a well-known American singer and reality television personality best recognized as the younger sister of R&B icon Toni Braxton.

Trina Evette Braxton-Scales was born on December 3, 1974, in Severn, Maryland, the United States to parents Evelyn Braxton and Michael Conrad Braxton. Her father, Michael was a Methodist clergyman who worked at a power company while her mother, Evelyn is a former opera singer, cosmetologist and pastor.
Trina Braxton has five siblings including an older brother named Michael Conrad Braxton Jr. (born in 1968) and four sisters named Toni Braxton (born in 1967), Towanda Braxton,(born in 1973), Traci Braxton (born in 1972), and Tamar Braxton (born in 1977).
Trina Braxton made her appearance on the music scene in 1992 as a founding member of the R&B group The Braxtons, along with her sisters. She and her sisters were cast in 2011 for the We TV reality show, Braxton Family Values.
Trina Braxton has been a co-host of the “Sister Circle” talk show since September 2018.
