Is Tig Notaro Cancelled?

Tig Notaro is an American stand-up comedian, writer, radio contributor, and actress. Tig Notaro was the star and creator of “One Mississippi,” an Amazon Prime comedy series that aired for two seasons and 24 episodes between 2016 and 2017.

The show was cancelled by Netflix in January 2018. While Notaro had planned to extend “One Mississippi” for a third season, the comedian shared in an interview with The Daily Beast that she was relieved the show was cancelled because it meant she wouldn’t have to think about Louis C.K. again.

Notaro appeared in a recurring guest role on “Star Trek: Discovery” a year after her show was cancelled.

In 2021, she appeared in the films “Music” and “Together Together,” and in the Netflix film “Army of the Dead,” she played helicopter pilot Marianne Peters.

Tig replaced comedian Chris D’Elia in the film after he was accused of sexual misconduct by several women; however, because the film had already been completed and the casting change occurred during the COVID-19 pandemic, Notaro’s scenes were added using CGI and green screens.
