Is there a dress code for Rick Stein?

There are no specific requirements for Rick Stein’s restaurants and as such, guests can wear whatever they feel comfortable in. Most people prefer smart-casual.

Rick Stein was awarded the OBE in the 2003 New Year Honours for services to tourism in Cornwall.

Along with business partner Jill Stein, he has run the Stein hotel and restaurant business in the UK.

Rick Stein is the father of Jack Stein, Edward Stein and Charles Stein. Rick Stein was born and brought up on a farm.

Rick Stein was brought up alongside three siblings including John Stein, Janey Stein and Henrietta Stein. He has written over 25 cookery books, and a memoir and made over 30 programmes including 12 cookery series.

As of 2015, Rick Stein ran a business which was operating four restaurants, a bistro, a café, a seafood delicatessen, a pâtisserie shop, a gift shop and a cookery school.

Rick Stein’s book English Seafood Cookery won the Glenfiddich Award for Food Book of the Year in 1989.
