Tamika Catchings served as President of the WNBA Players Association from 2012 to 2016. Tamika Catchings holds the WNBA record for most consecutive playoff appearances in 12 straight seasons.

In the 2015 season, Catchings was voted as a WNBA All-Star for the 10th time in her career while averaging 13.1 ppg, passing Tina Thompson for most all-star appearances.

Tamika Catchings is the first player at any level in history to be officially credited with scoring a quintuple-double (25 points, 18 rebounds, 11 assists, 10 steals, and 10 blocks).

Tamika Catchings was an All-American with the Tennessee Lady Volunteers basketball for 1997–2001. In 2011, Tamika Catchings was voted in by fans as one of the WNBA’s Top 15 Players of All Time.
