Given that modesty isn’t typically associated with combat sports, Miocic is a rare breed. When asked about trash talk, Miocic says, “It’s just too much. It’s tiring for me.” “I’m just a normal guy. I don’t have expensive cars or expensive clothes.
“I’m just me,” “I have a family, I have a house, a mortgage to worry about. That’s all I worry about – taking care of them and making sure we’re all set.”
Another factor that contributes to Miocic’s reputation as a nice guy is his dedication to giving back to his community. He has been involved in a severalharitable initiatives throughout his career, including working as a part-time firefighter paramedic in Oakwood and Valley View, Ohio.
