Is Steve Bannon Going To Prison?
Steve Bannon, a former top strategist and campaign chair to Donald Trump, was sentenced in U.S. federal court to four months in prison on contempt of Congress charges.

He was convicted earlier this year after a four-day trial in federal court in Washington on two counts: one for refusing to appear for a deposition and the other for refusing to provide documents in response to the committee’s subpoena.
What Did Steve Bannon Do?
On January 20, 2021, on his last day in office, Trump pardoned Bannon, sparing him from a federal trial.
Federal pardons do not cover state offenses, and in September 2022, Bannon was charged in New York state court on counts of fraud, money laundering, and conspiracy in connection to the “We Build The Wall” campaign.
