Sidhu Moose Wala was an Indian singer, rapper, actor and politician associated with Punjabi music and Punjabi cinema.

As a politician, Moose Wala was a member of the Indian National Congress, and he unsuccessfully contested the 2022 Punjab Legislative Assembly election from Mansa.

Moose Wala’s fame is tied to his exploits in the entertainment industry rather than his failures in politics.

Moose Wala gained wide attention after the release of his track “So High”.

In 2018, Moose Wala released his debut album PBX 1, which peaked at 66th on Billboard Canadian Albums chart.

Following the album, Moose Wala begun releasing his songs independently.

Moose Wala’s 2019 single “47” was ranked on the UK Singles Chart.

In 2020, Moose Wala was named by The Guardian among 50 up and coming artists with ten of his songs have peaked on UK Asian chart, two of which have topped the chart.

Noose Wala’s song “Bambiha Bole” was among the top five on Global YouTube music chart.

In 2021, Moose Wala released Moosetape, tracks from which charted globally including Canadian Hot 100, UK Asian, and New Zealand Hot charts.

Sadly, Moose Wala was gunned down by unidentified assailants on 29 May 2022.

However, a Canadian gangster Goldy Brar has claimed responsibility for Moose Wala’s murder.

Is Sidhu Moosewala and Karan Aujla friends?

For the best part, Moose Wala and Karan Aujla were good friends until Karan Aujla allegedly leaked songs written by Sidhu Moosewala, sparking a feud between them.

According to reports, Moose Wala and Aujla’s friendship began to face a meltdown after a Rehaan Records team member released a video where Moose Wala was intoxicated and went on to derogatory things about Karan Aujla.

Aujla then released a song in which he responded to Sidhu Moose Wala.

Elly Mangat revealed all of this in an interview with Prime Asia Television and also added that he tried his best to unite Moose Wala and Aujla but that his efforts proved futile. 

Karan Aujla then went on to release a song Haan Haige Aa, in response to Sidhu Moose Wala.

Karan Aujla took things a notch higher as he went on to release another song “Up And Down,” published in 2018 aimed at Moose Wala.

Aujla, Sanam Bhullar, Deep Jandu, and Lafaafe collaborated on the song.

Moose Wala also went on to release ‘Warning Shorts’, in response to Karan Aujla. 

Karan Aujla is also Punjabi singer, rapper, and composer who predominantly works in the Punjabi music genre.

Karan Aujla is mostly known for his singles, 14 of which have charted on the Official Charts Company’s UK Asian chart and seven on the Global YouTube music chart.
