Shazam! Fury of the Gods is scheduled to be released by Warner Bros. Pictures in the United States on December 21, 2022. It was originally set for release on April 1, 2022, before it was delayed to November 4, 2022, and then to June 2, 2023, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Shazam! Fury of the Gods at San Diego Comic-Con 2022, is a sequel to the 2019 movie and will release in theatres internationally beginning December 21, 2022.
The film follows teenager Billy Batson (Angel) as he is chosen by the ancient wizard Shazam to be his new champion by saying the name Shazam, allowing him to transform into an adult superhero with various superpowers.
