Shawn Bradley is a German-American former professional basketball player who played centre for the Philadelphia 76ers, New Jersey Nets, and Dallas Mavericks of the National Basketball Association.

Shawn Paul Bradley was born on March 22, 1972, in Landstuhl, Germany to parents, Reiner Bradley and Teresa. His father was working at a U.S. military hospital where he was born.
