Following the success of Marvel’s Black Widow, Scarlett Johansson has been named the world’s highest-paid actress.  Scarlett Johansson’s films have grossed over $14.3 billion worldwide, making her the highest-grossing box office star of all time.

Scarlett Johansson was included on Forbes’ annual list of the world’s highest-paid actresses from 2014 to 2016, with respective earnings of $17 million, $35.5 million, and $25 million.

Scarlett Johansson topped Forbes’ annual list in 2018 and 2019, with earnings of $40.5 million and $56 million, respectively. She was the highest-grossing actor of 2016, with a total of $1.2 billion.

As of September 2019, Scarlett Johansson’s films have grossed over $5.2 billion in North America and over $14.3 billion worldwide, making Johansson the third-highest-grossing box-office star of all time both domestically and worldwide as well as the highest-grossing actress of all time in North America.

Scarlett Johansson is the recipient of several accolades, including a Tony Award and a British Academy Film Award, in addition to nominations for two Academy Awards and five Golden Globe Awards.
