Sarah Jane Millican Millican was born on May 29, 1975, in South Shields, United Kingdom to her parents Philip D. King and Valerie Prince. Her father was a mining electrician and she was raised along with her sibling Victoria King.

Sarah Millican attended Mortimer Comprehensive School, now known as Mortimer Community College. She worked as a civil servant at a job centre until she was 29 years old. She won the if comedy award for Best Newcomer in 2008 following her debut Edinburgh Festival Fringe show Sarah Millican’s Not Nice.

Sarah Millican published her first book, How to Be Champion in 2017. She was listed as one of the 100 most powerful women in the United Kingdom by Radio 4’s Woman’s Hour, in February 2013.

No, Sarah Millican is currently married to fellow stand-up comic Gary Delaney whom she started dating in 2006 and married in December 2013. She was previously married to Andrew Millican whom she divorced in 2004.
