American mixed martial artist, Ryan Bader is still an active fighter who has signed for Bellator MMA. He defended his title against Cheick Kongo on May 6, 2022, at Bellator 280. The fight was won via unanimous decision. He also defended his title against Fedor Emelianenko on Saturday (February 4, 2023), at Bellator 290. He won the fight through ground and pound TKO in the first round.

Bader is the current Bellator Heavyweight champion and former Bellator Lightweight Heavyweight Champion. He also won the 2018 Bellator Heavyweight World Grand Prix Tournament.

Before signing to Bellator MMA, he was signed to UFC in the Light Heavyweight division where was a cast member and winner of The Ultimate Fighter: Team Nogueira vs. Team Mir.
He was ranked the No. 6 in the Bellator men’s pound-for-pound rankings and No. 3 in the Bellator Light Heavyweight Rankings as of December 2022. He fights out of Chandler, Arizona, United States. He is a member of the Power MMA Team which he joined in 2010.
