While “Resistance” is inspired by true events and features real-life historical figures such as Marceau, it is not a completely accurate portrayal of his life.

The movie takes creative liberties with the story, adding fictional characters and plot points to create a more compelling narrative.

However, the film does highlight some of the key aspects of Marceau’s involvement in the Resistance, including his work with the Jewish scouts and his efforts to smuggle children across the border into Switzerland.
