He recently shared that he underwent heart surgery after a major blockage. According to him, there have been complications with his health over the past two decades.

“I had high cholesterol 20 years ago and my guy always told me, ‘Why don’t we start going on the statin,” he said during an interview.

“And every time I would say let me do it myself. I would go home and eat a little healthier, get it down a couple of ticks. It was 280 and now it’s 2022. He’d go, ‘You gotta get it down even more,” he added.
Romano also added that he is now pre-diabetic because he did not take medications earlier, which he regrets the most.
“I’m on the meds, and it’s got me all down now, so I figured, ‘Oh, now I can enjoy and eat some food. My sugar level’s up now,” he said.
“Saying 50 was weird, but saying 60 is sounds foreign, it sounds fake. In my head I don’t feel that old. In my body, I’m getting a couple of notices that I am that old,” he added.
