Peter Sagan is a Slovak professional road cyclist who currently competes for the UCI ProTeam Team TotalEnergies.

Before switching to road racing, Sagan had a successful junior cyclocross and mountain bike racing career, winning the junior cross-country race at the 2008 UCI Mountain Bike & Trials World Championships.

Sagan is regarded as one of cycling’s greatest talents, He has won three consecutive World Championships, one European Championship, two Paris-Nice stages, seven Tirreno-Adriatico stages and one in the Tour de Romandie

He also won three and the overall classification in the Tour de Pologne, a Tour of California record seventeen stages and the overall classification, and another fifteen in the Tour de Suisse.

Is Peter Segan racing in 2022?

Peter withdrew from last year’s Tour before stage 12 due to a knee injury. However, he has recovered and is participating in the Tour De France this year
