Who Is Paul Maurice?
Paul Maurice is a former ice hockey player and the current head coach of the Florida Panthers of the National Hockey League (NHL).
Born on January 30, 1967, in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Canada, Maurice played with the Windsor Spitfires as a defenceman for four seasons, appearing in 38 games and earning three assists.

He began his coaching career in 1988 and has coached the Hartford Whalers, Toronto Maple Leafs, Carolina Hurricanes, and Winnipeg Jets.
When he served as coach of the Carolina Hurricanes, he led his team to winning the Stanley Cup, after a game matched against the Pittsburgh Penguins.
As head coach of the Jets, Maurice won his 600th game as an NHL head coach and so far has been the 17th coach to hit the mark.
Maurice became the head coach of the Florida Panthers in 2022, following his resignation from the Jets.
