Nikita Mazepin is a Russian racing driver who last raced for the Haas F1 Team in the 2021 Formula One World Championship under the Russian Automobile Federation flag.

Mazepin is the son of Dimitry Mazepin, a Belarusian Russian Oligarch businessman who is the core shareholder and chairman of the Uralchem. According to Deutsche Welle, Nikita’s place on the F1 team was due to his father’s influence.

On March 5, Haas terminated both Mazepin’s contract and Uralkali’s title sponsorship.
