TV presenter Natalie Barr is not leaving Sunrise. However, she had left the program mid-show in March 2023, during an ad break, to attend to an interview.

The interview happened to be with the family of late Aussie icon Olivia Newton-John.
Barr was replaced by Weekend Sunrise host, Monique Wright.

Natalie Barr began her career in the media industry as far back as 1994.
The TV presenter, was born on March 19, 1968, in Bunbury, Western Australia, and was schooled at Curtin University.
Being a trained journalist, and newscaster, Barr co-hosts the breakfast TV program Sunrise on Channel Seven Network.

Barr has served as co-host on the current affairs program Sunday Night. In 2018, she made a guest appearance on Home and Away, where she reported the disappearance of Ava Gilbert.
Barr began presenting Seven Early News together with Mark Beretta in 2008, before Sunrise. Up until now, she sometimes presents Seven News Sydney.
Barr hosted Sunrise twice a week alongside David Koch and Samantha Armytage in 2020, and in 2021, she co-presented the program with Matt Doran.
Two months later, she was made a permanent host on the show after Samantha Armytage resigned.
