Mickey Kuhn, an American actor best known for his appearance in the 1939 Civil War classic “Gone With the Wind” when he was just 6 years old is dead. Kuhn was born on September 21, 1932 and died November 20, 2022 at the age of 90.

Kuhn was the last surviving credited cast member of Gone with the Wind. He starred as Beau Wilkes, the son of Ashley and Melanie Wilkes, portrayed by Leslie Howard and Olivia de Havilland.
His demise was revealed by Barbara, his wife of many years who informed the media the passed away at a hospice facility in Naples, Florida.

Barbara didn’t reveal an exact cause of death but mentioned that Kuhn was in good health until recently.
Kuhn also starred in:
- Juarez (1939),
- A Tree Grows in Brooklyn (1945),
- Red River (1948), and
- Broken Arrow (1950).
Kuhn left the film business in 1956 and worked for American Airlines from 1965 to 1995 and the Boston airport in administrative positions until his retirement.
He is survived by his wife Barbara, whom he married in 1985, a son named Mick and a daughter named Patricia.
