Martin Short is a Canadian-American actor, comedian, singer, and writer. According to Vanity Fair, Martin Short is one of the few comedians who is truly kind and even-tempered.

Lorne Michaels, the head of Saturday Night Live and a friend of Martin Short’s, said of him, “It really sets him apart. I’m trying to remember, but I don’t think he ever went through that megalomaniac period.”

His humble nature resonates with his character Oliver in his show “Only Murders in the Building,” who is also friendly with his neighbors, and it also speaks volumes about his close friendship with another SNL member and co-star Steve Martin.

Martin Short  is well-known for his work on the TV shows SCTV and Saturday Night Live. He has also appeared in Mulaney (2014-2015), Maya and Marty (2016), and The Morning Show (2019).

Martin Short has won several awards, including two Primetime Emmys and a Tony Award. Martin Short was appointed an Officer of the Order of Canada in 2019 and has received medals from Queen Elizabeth II.
