Marcel Kittel is a former German racing cyclist who competed for Team Giant-Alpecin, Quick-Step Floors, and Team Katusha-Alpecin between 2011 and 2019.

He specialised in time trials as a junior, winning a bronze medal in the World Championships for cyclists under the age of 23. When he turned pro in 2011, he specialised in bunch sprints, winning 19 stages across three Grand Tours and 89 victories in his professional career.

Kittel made his professional debut with the Dutch team Skil-Shimano in 2011. He won a bunch of sprints during the Tour de Langkawi despite being known as a time trial specialist at the time.
