Is Larry Fitzgerald a Hall of Famer?

Larry Fitzgerald and late journalist Pedro Gomez are among the 2022 class members entering the Arizona Sports Hall of Fame. Fitzgerald played in the National Football League for 17 seasons with the Arizona Cardinals.

In the 2002 season at the University of Pittsburgh, Larry Fitzgerald had a Big-East conference, leading 69 receptions for 1,005 yards and twelve touchdowns.

Following his sophomore season, Larry Fitzgerald was named the best wide receiver in college football with the 2003 Biletnikoff Award and the Touchdown Club’s Paul Warfield Award.

Larry Fitzgerald was recognized as the best player in the NCAA with the 2003 Walter Camp Award and the Touchdown Club of Columbus’s Chic Harley Award after his sophomore season.

Larry Fitzgerald was named as the Cardinals’ Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year and was one of three finalists for the Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year Award following the 2012 football season. He was featured on the cover of the EA Sports video game NCAA Football 2005.
