Anderson and Gobert had a heated argument before Gobert threw a punch in anger. They were separated by coaches and players before it got serious. Gobert was ruled out for the remainder of the game and was even sent home.
“We made the decision to send Rudy Gobert home after the incident in the second quarter. His behavior on the bench was unacceptable and will continue handling the situation internally,” Wolves President of Basketball Operations, Tim Connelly said in a statement after the incident.
