Is Kristie Sita missing a hand?

Kristie Sita had a situation that caused her to lose one of her hands.

Kristie Sita was out on Ruby Lake on the Sunshine Coast in British Columbia at age 16 when her left hand was severed off by a rope but while she thought it was a nightmare at the time, she has since come to terms with the loss.

Kristie had previously explained the horror of losing her hand in an instant when she was out on a lake with friends. The group had an inflatable tube that fell off the back of the boat to retrieve it.

Though the experience was terrifying she said and required immediate emergency surgery, Kristie rebounded quickly with a positive attitude. Just two and a half months after her four-hour operation, she was back training in the gym.
