After breaking the AAC’s all-time scoring record, Memphis star Kendric Davis left Thursday’s 64-63 win over UCF in the first half with a right ankle injury.

Injured Kendric Davis was not in the starting lineup for Sunday’s game against No. 2 Houston in February 2023. However, he has recovered from his injury as of June 2023.

Kendric Davis is an American college basketball player for the Memphis Tigers of the American Athletic Conference who had previously played for the TCU Horned Frogs and the SMU Mustangs.

After his freshman season, Kendric Davis transferred to South Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. In his junior season debut on November 25, 2020, Kendric Davis scored a career-high 33 points in a 97–67 win against Sam Houston State.
Following the season, Kendric Davis transferred to the University of Memphis for his final season of eligibility. On January 23, 2023, he scored 26 points in an 80–68 win against Tulsa and surpassed the 2,000-point threshold.
