Since 1970, Jack Harris has been involved in radio, television, and sports broadcasts in that market.

He has eight years of television experience as the voice of The Jerry Lewis Telethon, hosting a show with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Coaches Show with John McKay on WTOG, hosting the nationally ranked afternoon programme “Pulse Plus!” on WTVT between 1984 and 1989, and hosting “NewsWatch 8 at Noon” and his talk show “Harris and Company”.

Jack Harris has had his contract at WFLA-970 AM renewed for another three years. [Times files (2007)]
Harris’ sports broadcasting experience includes radio play-by-play for the NFL’s expansion Tampa Bay Buccaneers as well as pre-game and half-time shows for the Buccaneers and promotions with the NHL’s Tampa Bay Lightning.

Jack Harris has previously provided voice-over announcements at Tampa International Airport and published a book of humorous essays titled Jack Harris Unwrapped.

Jack Harris received the FBI Director’s Community Leadership Award in Washington, DC in 2017 for his dedication to Tampa Bay’s safety and security. Jack received the Lifetime Advocate Award from VET 2 VET RECONNECT.
