American cowman, J.B Mauney is riding in 2023. He returned from injury in January 2023 to make his 2023 debut. He is currently competing in the 2023 RodeoHouston Champions as a Roll Tide.

When did J.B Mauney get injured?
J.B Mauney got injured in December 2021 during a frightening NFR spill. He was assisted to get off the arena after being bucked off a bull called Johnny Thunder during the second go-round. He laid unconscious and sustained facial lacerations after the incident. He was leading from a facial cut as he climbed to his feet.

“I had a great career in the PBR, but I’m getting older. As bull rider, it just doesn’t last. I accomplished a lot riding bulls. But one thing I wanted to do was nod my head in those yellow bucking chutes,” he shared.
