Boats were pulled from their moorings inside the harbour near the Manly ferry pier, with several, washing up on the neighboring shore.

A sailing vessel capsized near Bronte Beach, prompting emergency personnel to initiate a search for missing crew members. The search was called off after the yacht’s owner came forward and said the boat had been ripped from its port at Gordons Bay owing to high seas.
