Cormier began his acting career as a voice actor in a Canadian cartoon series when he was just 8 years. He made his film appearance debut in Get Shorty (2017), where he played Guatemalan Urchin. In 2018, he also starred in Lost in Space.
He is set to play Aang in Netflix’s live-action tv series of Avatar: The Last Airbender which will be released in 2024. In August 2021, he was cast as the titular character of the series, which is the remake of the animated series of the same name.
