Enes Kanter Freedom is an American professional basketball player who last played for the Boston Celtics of the National Basketball Association.

Born in Switzerland to Turkish parents, he was raised in Turkey and moved to the United States as a teenager.
Kanter made his debut for the Turkish national basketball team at the 2008 FIBA Europe Under-16 Championship in Italy.
He dominated throughout the tournament, averaging 22.9 points, 16.5 rebounds, and 1.5 blocks in 34.6 minutes per game.
However, Jonas Valančiūnas was chosen as the MVP after he averaged 14.3 points, 11.1 rebounds, and 2.3 blocks in 23.5 minutes.
