Born in Newport Beach, California, he began his career as an actor in the early 1990s at the age of five with his first televised appearance on Home Improvement, and also appeared in several commercials as a child.
Bell is best known for his starring roles on Nickelodeon’s The Amanda Show and Drake & Josh. He also starred in a trilogy of The Fairly OddParents movies on Nickelodeon. Bell was the voice of Peter Parker / Spider-Man in the animated series Ultimate Spider-Man on Disney XD.

Drake Bell has changed his name to Drake Campana and has carved out a career as a successful Spanish-language singer, based out of Mexico.
News of the former Nickelodeon star’s career change has reached Twitter, where people have been expressing their surprise at the unexpected twist.
Drake has yet to comment on his change of name so it’s unclear if he’s legally changed it, or just simply switched up his stage name to fit with his new sound.
He’s also now put a Mexican flag next to his name, prompting thousands of fans to wonder whether or not he’s actually Mexican.
