Is Dr Drew still on CNN? – Dr. Drew no longer appears on CNN. Drew Pinsky’s six-year-old HLN show, “Dr. Drew On Call,” was canceled by CNN in August 2016, effective Sept. 22.

CNN senior vice president Ken Jautz said in a statement that he and Pinsky had mutually agreed to air the final episode of the show on September 22.

Despite no explicit reason was offered for the show’s cancellation, it is widely assumed that it was related to statements Dr. Drew made regarding Hillary Clinton.

The decision to discontinue the show came eight days after Pinsky’s statements on a radio show on Aug. 17 questioning former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s health and medical care.

After looking at bits and pieces of Clinton’s healthcare records she made public in 2015, he said he was “gravely concerned not just about her health, but her health care.”

At the time of Dr. Drew’s comments, Republican presidential contender Donald Trump’s campaign, along with surrogates and supporters such as former New York mayor Rudy Giuliani and Fox News host Sean Hannity, attempted to paint Clinton as lacking “the mental and physical stamina” required for the position, as Trump put it.
