Don Omar is the stage name of William Omar Landrón Rivera, a Puerto Rican reggaeton singer, songwriter, rapper, record producer, and actor.

After a series of performances at the José Miguel Agrelot Coliseum in Puerto Rico on December 15, 16, and 17, he announced his retirement on September 1, 2017.

He made a comeback on April 20, 2019, with the release of “Ramayana,” a song featuring Farruko.

Omar’s first child, Nicolas Valle Gomez, was born in 2003. Omar married Jackie Guerrido, a forecaster, and writer, on April 19, 2008. In March 2011, it was revealed that they had divorced.

Is Don Omar religious?

He became an active member of the Protestant Iglesia Evangélica Restauración en Cristo in Bayamón while he was young, where he occasionally preached.

On February 10, 1978, in Villa Palmeras, Puerto Rico, Omar was born William Omar Landrón. He became active in the church at a young age.

He became a preacher, and it was actually in this capacity that he started developing both his talent to perform and his profound understanding of the human soul.
