Denis Leary is an American actor and comedian who was born on August 18, 1957. Leary, a Massachusetts native, originally rose to fame as a stand-up comic, thanks in large part to his appearances on MTV (where he performed the humorous song “Asshole”) and his stand-up specials No Cure for Cancer (1993) and Lock ‘n Load (1997).
