David West was an American professional baseball player who plied his trade in Major League Baseball and the Nippon Professional Baseball. David West played as a pitcher for a decade from 1988 to 1998 and he was quite exceptional.

David West played for the likes of the New York Mets, Minnesota Twins, Philadelphia Phillies, Fukuoka Daiei Hawks, and the Boston Red Sox. David West was born on September 1, 1964, and died on May 14, 2022, at the age of 57 years, as a result of battling brain cancer.
