Coretta Scott King is buried next to her husband, Martin Luther King Jr. They are both interred at the Martin Luther King Jr. Center for Nonviolent Social Change, also known as the King Center, in Atlanta, Georgia.

The centre was established by Coretta Scott King after her husband’s death in 1968 and serves as a repository for the papers and artefacts of Martin Luther King Jr. and the Civil Rights Movement.

The King Center’s campus also includes a reflecting pool and a stone crypt where Martin Luther King Jr. and Coretta Scott King are buried.

The crypt is located on the lower level of the Freedom Hall complex, which also includes an exhibition of photographs and artefacts related to the Civil Rights Movement.
