Spinal stenosis is a narrowing of the spine and pinching of the nerves.

This came after he had a number feeling in his fingers and toes. And that marked the end of his football career.

Cooper underwent two surgeries, which led to complications with a blood clot near his spinal cord.

After the surgery, he had to learn to walk again.
